Head of Stewardship Europe, BNP Paribas Asset Management
Rachel has more than 30 years of experience working at the intersection of sustainability, international development and responsible investment. She has been Head of Stewardship for Europe within the Sustainability Centre of BNPP Asset Management since September 2021. There she leads stewardship activities in the region, including corporate engagement and proxy voting, as well as policy advocacy on global sustainability agendas. She also represents BNPP AM within key investor initiatives that address climate change, biodiversity loss, health, nutrition and other issues.
During her career she has held roles at the World Bank in Washington D.C, at two other investment management firms in London, and at a start-up environmental finance company in New York. She also ran her own consulting business for 11 years and has held numerous roles as a Board trustee and committee member of several not-for-profits.
