Net Zero Transition Planning Fellow, Center for Climate and Energy Solutions
Naila Karamally is a Net Zero Transition Planning Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). Naila supports C2ES’s work around the development of comprehensive and credible net zero transition plans. This work includes supporting investor and real economy transition plan development and identifying leading practices on related themes such as Just Transition and board level integration of net zero transition plans. Before she joined C2ES, Naila was a Senior Associate of Shareholder Advocacy within Ceres Shareholder Initiative on Climate and Sustainability.
She currently serves as a co-chair of Clean Production Action’s Environmental Justice and DEI working group, which convenes investors, scientists, and sustainability professionals to promote more just and equitable corporate chemicals practices.
Naila received an MBA from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, where she created an individual concentration focusing on Finance, Social Impact, and Environmental Sustainability.
