Manager of ESG Stewardship, Parnassus Investments

Marissa LaFave is a Manager of ESG Stewardship at Parnassus Investments. She leads the firm’s corporate engagement programs on environmental justice and worker rights and is a member of the firm’s Proxy Voting Committee. Prior to joining Parnassus Investments in 2018, Marissa was a Shareholder Advocate at Green Century Capital Management, where her focuses included deforestation, supply chain human rights, and sustainable food production. While at Green Century, Marissa served on two working group advisory committees for the UN Principles for Responsible Investment. Marissa is based out of Oakland, California.
