Ben currently leads socially and environmentally conscious chemical management initiatives at the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), which is the world's largest industry coalition dedicated to responsible business conduct in global supply chains. His work entails the dissemination of leading standards in responsible chemical management across value chains of RBA member companies through holistic, systematic, and harmonized approaches to identifying, assessing, and addressing chemical safety risks and adverse environmental impacts. He has over a decade of experience as an occupational safety, environmental health, and industrial hygiene professional between several private sector companies and nonprofits. His subject matter expertise includes workplace safety, hazardous materials, occupational exposures, environmental impacts, and public health. Ben maintains the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation from the Board for Global EHS Credentialing and the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He has a BS degree in Environmental Technology and a MS degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.
