The Business-NGO Working Group promotes the creation and adoption of safer chemicals and sustainable materials in a way that supports market transitions to a healthy economy, healthy environment, and healthy people.

As more and more businesses seek to replace toxic chemicals with safe alternatives, a clear roadmap is needed on how to proceed. The Guiding Principles for Chemicals Policy establish an effective strategy for promoting, developing and using chemicals that are environmentally preferable across their entire life cycle.

To build an economy where the production and use of chemicals are healthy for humans and the global environment, the Business-NGO Working Group is asking businesses and NGOs to endorse the Guiding Principles for Chemicals Policy. Click here for more information.
